We had taken a cruise from Dubai and Khasab was one of the stops. Its a quaint little town. Two things of note: The fort and the Fjords. We took a tour with musandam tours (an excellent tour operator). We were a little late to take the dhow so they took us with a speedboat amongst the fjords (to the dhow).... More

The Fjords are a nice ride on a boat that take you through an area full of Fjords. You can see Dolphins and some sea life. We took a swim but the water is TO MURCKY to really appreciate any snorkeling. It was relaxing and sceneries where beautiful

I hate heights and scenery at altitude is a bit meh for me, so was not bowled over. Hubby and son thought it was lovely but really unless you plan... More

This is a must when visiting Khassab. A day in the fjord spotting dolphins, swimming with colorful fishes in a lovely scenery was simply a special day. One of the highlight of our trip!

We took a private cruise with Khasab Dhow Tours (reviewed separately) and it was great. The dhow was very comfortable and we were spoiled the whole day just relaxing and enjoying the views, being served refreshments throughout and a nice lunch on board. The highlight was the dolphins, especially when they raced alongside our dhow! The only disappointment was the... More

We visited Khasab and the Oman Fjords on day 2 of our honeymoon, Khasab itself is a small town isolated from the rest of the world with only 1 road in and out it is this type of isolation that creates a truly peacful place to visit with a stunning backdrop of mountains and water really is worth a visit... On a lovely sunny morning we sailed around this part of the Oman coast. Rugged beauty and very sparsely populated.
