We live down the street from Astoria Park and use it daily, even if it's just to walk along the East River. The park has been improving steadily over the past three years and both NYC and private groups have made significant, positive changes.

Astoria Park is great for running! You can choose to do so on the tracks, bordering the park or inside the park itself. It is good for endurance. I love going there as well to do picnic with my friends.

This is a nice little park - it has a big sloping lawn where you can lay out and relax, a kids playground that is excellent, a big public pool, tennis courts, basketball, and a new Bocci Ball court. Just a nice place to hang...More
