Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the best reefs in north male atoll. Known for the variety of sea life and fishes. The water is very clean and visibility is good too. Beware sometimes the waves go hard. Good place to watch beautiful fish live and under water plants.

s by speedboat from the airport i cant thank them enough for the snorkelling sessions ; both in the shallow reef (max 4 ft depth) and the deeper reef (15-20 ft) despite being a non-swimmer. Missed out on scuba diving as there were some repair issues in the resort.

The reef and its inhabitants are absolutely amazing! This is definitely a must for any divers or casual snorkelers when they are in Maldives.

Fantastic dive site, amazing number of fish in one place. The visibility was also luckily at least 20metres.

This is by far the best snorkeling I have ever experienced. The amount of marine life, the colors, the coral, the temperature of the water was amazing. I saw Moray Eels, Blowfish, Giant Clams and so much more. On the way out I dozens of dolphins escorted us and jumped out of the water...amazing. There is a very strong current and it is in the middles of the ocean. An absolute must tough if you can get there.

Banana Reef is rich in marine life with magnificent corals around which groper, sharks, jack fish, blue-striped snapper and barracuda can be seen. Lucky divers witness a few shy turtles as well.

This was my last destination in Maldives for this tour as I'm flying to go home so I need some surface time to be able to fly. To make it special I decided to do a night dive. Had all gear in the boat by sunset and off we went to check out Banana reef. The rising tide was still several knots too strong to do the dive at this location so we decided to go back a step down south and do it the next reef.
