This is a stretch of beach that is where the main hospital [Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah] and the state aquatic center is located. The beach is open to public and has a few public amenities such as benches and swings. There's even an observational tower [probably for lifeguards should the state recruit some volunteers in the future]. At present, you... More

Nice place to just sit by the beach to enjoy the scenery, not allowed for swimming due to strong undercurrents. Activities include kite flying, horse carriage riding, and playground for kids. Grab some fried tidbits such as keropok lekor and banana fritters plus coconut shakes, and have a picnic there..enjoyed the time watching the sunset.

Located at the heart of town, this beach was one of the popular attraction in Kuala Terengganu. You can do parasailing, flying the kites, horse riding, picnic or just walking around the beach. Lot of food stall available and few fast food restaurant as well.

We went to this beach for breakfast and end up spending some time here. very clean and well maintained. Very beautiful even though its freaking hot. They have few beach swing and the nice spot for a picnic. Many shops and restaurants around the beach. Perfect for some relaxation with a beautiful beach.

We came here on a Sunday and it was crowded. But the crowd was what gave the beach more character and vibrancy. There were people flying kites everywhere, family picnicking at the beach or eating at the food court nearby, kids building sand castles, teenagers running around... I wished I lived here.

Must-go spot. Kite flying. Nice street food. Entertaining. Happening place. Delicious food at the nearby food court. Pity the A&W restaurant is one of the top spot in Batu Burok but it seems like it will no longer be there soon. Sad.
