We went as half of a full day combined with Matang Wildlife Centre. Essentially a stiff walk on a trail in our case to the waterfall. First 30 mins on a concrete road then an hour on the trail. Went on Malaysia Day so was busy. But very interesting to hear about plants etc from guide. And waterfall worth the... More

We stayed here for two nights in the hostel. We had the hostel to ourselves as stayed during the week. Local people tend to come here to relax at the weekends. The hostel rooms are 4 small rooms with big dining and lounge area. No wifi or phone signal though so bring games or book to read in evening. Totally... More

Great rainforest trekking to a very nice waterfall. Perfect half day somewhat challenging walk with our 10 year-olds🙂 Wonderful cool shower in the clear, clean waterfall and very lush and thick rain forest to keep you amazed while swetting a lot... Carry lot's of drinking water!

Went by taxi from Kuching (60 Ringgit), 40 min drive. Entrance fee 20 Ringgit p.p. clear directions given by park ranger. He advised us to combine a few trails with a total duration of 5 hours. Trails are very clearly marked, some bridges however need maintenance. The park lies in the mountains so expect a lot of ascending/descending. Also be... More

The paved road leads from the park entrance, up the hill to the cell phone tower at the top. Worth it for the stunning view and you can walk in flip flops. Feeling adventurous , looking for some off road wanders, then yes Kubah has the trails. Long and short, the most popular is to the waterfall. There are wooden... More

This cute national park is within the easy reach from Kuching. The rainforest is hot and steamy here and the park has several easy trails. I did the 7km loop: Waterfall Trail to Selang Trail via Main/Rayu Trails. Wish I had a scooter so I can check out the views from the highest point. The public transport schedule didn't permit... Had 3 days here, stayed in the hostel accommodation. 15ringgit per bed a night in dorms, shared kitchen, communal area and bathroom, cold shower. Perfect for a budget traveller. First afternoon walked to the waterfall about and hour each way. Quiet pretty not a huge amount of water. Second day I walked to matang wildlife park, a few enclosure with... More

The trek to the waterfall is a fantastic opportunity to experience the forest and getting to the refreshing waterfall at the end is a bonus. If you are 50+ like me, you need to be fairly fit to do the trek, but it is definitely doable. If you have a car with a driver and want to conserve your energy,... More

This is park located at Kuching Sarawak. The waterfall at the top is said to be very breathtaking. However, it takes 1 hour 30 minutes to track all the way up to the hill to enjoy the waterfall. It was advised that the best time to start the tracking would be early morning.
