We went on the 5 hour trek as advised and had an amazing time, only saw a couple of other people the whole time as it is so huge and not many people go! We showered in the waterfall and swam in the natural pools and no one came the whole time. it was so amazing to experience such natural... More

Once we reached the waterfall, we couldn't wait to jump in! It was empty and it was soooo cold and refreshing. It was great! But the trail is nothing special.

This place is great! Situated about 45 mins. drive from Kuching city centre and just past Matang Wildlife Park. Admission is 20 Ringgits for foreigners - a bargain. There's a number of jungle trails running through different parts of the park. The waterfall trail is about 1.5 Km. and runs to a fairly impressive 30ft. drop waterfall. The ground can... More

I loved it at Kubah, it was so quiet and peaceful. We only saw a handful of other visitors. If you are wanting to see lots of wildlife, this is not the park for you. However, if you're not coming with that expectation and just want to see the beautiful views, you will not be disappointed. The trails are mostly... More

We stayed overnight at the forest hostel. There are three different rooms you can book beds in online. Room one has 3 bunk beds, room two has two bunk beds and room three has two single beds. There is a shared fully equipped kitchen and two toilets (one with shower). There is only a cold water shower but that worked... More

I highly recommend doing the treks in the end of afternoon and beginning of evening, as the sounds of the forest are just amazing at that moment. We saw a big reptile on the way back. Take a lamp with you !

I always wanted to take a shower under a waterfall and now I finally did! This park is not touristy at all. We were alone at the waterfall for about 45 min and then another small group joint us. The man at the head quarters will give you a map and he will give you some advise. The waterfall trail... More

We went as half of a full day combined with Matang Wildlife Centre. Essentially a stiff walk on a trail in our case to the waterfall. First 30 mins on a concrete road then an hour on the trail. Went on Malaysia Day so was busy. But very interesting to hear about plants etc from guide. And waterfall worth the... More

We stayed here for two nights in the hostel. We had the hostel to ourselves as stayed during the week. Local people tend to come here to relax at the weekends. The hostel rooms are 4 small rooms with big dining and lounge area. No wifi or phone signal though so bring games or book to read in evening. Totally... More
