Although over the weekends this place can get busy, it is awesome at other times. There are trails and you can do guided walks and go frog searching at night ... with a guide. I'd like to thank Mr Suahali who was kind enough to tell me all about the animals in this park. We also saw two species of... More

To go from Kuching to Kubah National Park, get the bus K21 (4RM) and its an hour ride. The entry is 20RM. The park is gorgeous with lots of hills, ups and downs, I personally found it quite tiering, so get your legs ready. The park offers several trails from one hour to several hours, you can't buy food or water... More

We spend the night at one of the chalets and visited the natural frog pond in the evening. The frog pond is spectacular. Do arrange to have a car inside of the part to get up to the frog pond, because it is located circa 2km up a very steep hill. Plan to spend an hour or more at the... More

We spent 5 nights here staying in the hostel. The amenities are clean and you get a kitchen and fridge to cook your meals. Unfortunately there is not hot water but for $5AUD a night you cant complain. The national park itself is great, especially for reptiles and frogs. Mammal sightings are few and far between but we still managed... More

Kubah park offers several trails from one hour to several hours. The forest is dense and you can get lost on the trails (bring your phone for emergencies). You can't buy food or water in the park, so bring something. Entry fee is 20 Ringgit for a foreign adult, they close the park when all visitors have left. It has... More

A real jungle experience that can be quite easily done yourself. On arrival, a friendly guide Dominic gave us the low down on the different trails available and even suggested a route for us. The trails themselves are well signposted and if you take the waterfall one it is a real treat. With limited visitors to the park we didn't... More

Kubah National Park provides awesome, well-kept trekking trails that take you into the real rainforests of Sarawak. ***You do not need a guide to experience Kubah National Park!!!*** Kubah is easily accessible. We took an Uber (new to this region of Malaysia) and it took us to the HQ where an extremely friendly and helpful park ranger went through the... More

i love this place and it's has great view. only bummer you have to walk about 1 km up a very steep hill just to go to most of the places. We went to the Waterfall and as well as the Observation point. A great place to spent amid morning session and have fun . Make sure you're fit and... More

Don't trust the hiking times suggested by the park - took the 3-4 hour one way hike in 3.5 hours both ways. Primary forest, but all hikes signposted nicely (except for the start). Beware of leeches who live in leaves on the ground though.

Thank Sandra W
