Another interesting, intriguing, and exciting place to visit is the Cultural Village, situated near Santubong and Damai beach. It will take around 40 minutes from Kuching centre to reach there . Here we can visit and see the diverse culture of Sarawak and its people. Visitors will be able to purchase items and goods related to Sarawak and its people... More

This is a day out very made up for tourism, but brilliant it was very hot walking about in the midday maybe best to go in the morning, the blowpipe was fun to try and to see some of the arts and crafts being done, the passport thing to collect the stamps is a fun idea and the show wasn't... More

I had read a lot about the cultural village before I went, and did not have high hopes - I was expecting a really touristy place without much cultural information. But I was very pleasantly surprised! I took a shuttle bus from the Grand Margherita Hotel, which was very easy. The village itself is beautifully laid out around a lake... More

Do not miss the show that is put on twice daily. There are various longhouses built in the styles of various tribal groups plus a few other buildings. You can also try shooting blow darts. There is a shuttle service from the Grand Margherita hotel in Kuching.

If your purpose to go to Sarawak is to get to know their culture and tribes in one shot, this place has it all. It has all kind of traditional houses and each house has their own unique things to offer the audience. But in my opinion, the ticket price is too expensive but if this could be your one... More

the cultural village is surprisingly a wonderful place. RM60 flat rate for adults whether for malaysians or not. downright unfair but what can we do about it. make sure you don't get conned by local tourists though. we paid a guy to drop us and pick us for RM80 - which is a reasonable price. not sure about bus rides... A good place to get to know many of the cultural tribes of Sarawak. Try your blowpipe skills. Taste the traditional food. Learn a lot, and get amazed by the great show. Really a must-visit!

We were on the first bus to avoid the crowds and heat - it was wonderful and very interesting. I would suggest wearing slip on shoes as you do need to take your shoes off to enter the long houses
