I enjoyed wandering through the garden looking at the most beautiful orchids Ive ever seen. Its a peaceful and pretty garden and a great spot to photograph the magnificent golden parliament building.

Well, what's in the name. There are loads of orchids in this garden. It's free, the flowers are beautiful, they have many species. Wouldn't spend too much time here, but it's nice to kill time if you have time spare.

We visit in the beginning of August but there were almost no orchids at all. In this time of year it is useless to visit these gardens.

We had a lovely walk through the orchid gardens and although it is very quiet, we were impressed at how well it was maintained and that there is no cost to visit.
