The day we spent on Sapi was marred by there being no water with which to flush the toilets. With approximately 200 people on the island that day and with less than100 meters of beach that was easily accessible, it became very crowded. The walking...More

Water is clear compared to manukan eventhough many people suggest us to snorkelling in manukan. But this place is very crowded, fortunately we arrived here a bit earlier. The most enjoyable things is ziplining from gaya island to sapi island. This is a must-try activity...More

Loved this island! There are giant lizards if you go on the trail. The snorkeling is also good, but there are two types of fish that bite if you go near them. First time I have been bitten by fish so I was a bit...More

Water is clear with many fishes. Apparently this is the best snorkling spot around, which explains the popularity. Fishes are not afraid of people as tourists feed them. Personally, i do not mind having fewer fishes in a more "natural" setting.

Didn't expect that this place turned out so beautiful. I loved so much. Water is beautifully blue, green, clean and full of fish.

Personally I didn't see any need to book a snorkelling tour. Just make your way to the jetty, hire your equipment at that point, then buy a return trip to your choice of Sapi or Manukan. Manukan has much prettier coral right... More

Sorry, I didn't stay there overnight. Also, I found most of the people were to do one-day activity. However, I think it's the usual things that you bring to any accommodation for a short stay.
