Pretty island. Nice sandy beach and crystal clear water. Snorkelling is recommended. There was a small ice cream shop near wwhere we sit, with a Walls umbrella and the soft serve ice-cream tasted AMAZING. Either cone or cup costed RM5, definitely worth the money. There were also other types of icecream like Mini-Magnums. There also seemed to be chalets on... More

Such a pretty Island, would recommend out of the few islands scattered around. We did Manukan and Sapi, both very nice. Weather was good when we went, nice clear water, not much rubbish around at all. A very worthwhile day trip if you are staying in Kota Kinabalu!

Compare with the other two island where the package offer most by the local guide, this island consider to be the clean and great spot for snorkeling. Try to arrange this island first before sapi island. It wont be crowded in the morning.

This one is perfect for a lazy beach hang out. White sand, long beaches, crystal clear water. There is a snorkeling site so you can enjoy coral reefs and beautiful fishes. A beautiful place.

It was great to be so closeby to Manukan island. We took a 20 min boat ride which was so reasonable at 40 ringgit per person return. The beach was white and it was so much fun looking for fish! I'd recommend buying snacks before going as they charge higher prices being the only services on the island. We liked... More

I suggest to not go for any island trips but if you are here for the islands, i do suggest island hopping because there is nothing much to see. too many tourists and boatmen always have to pack tourist quickly and everything is too much of a rush.

My wife and I did a snorkelling day trip to manukau and enjoyed it. We found going outside the roped off area go the left of the jetty as you look towards the island the best. Plenty of viral variety and fish, warm clear water. On a sad note we found several crown of thorns starfish on the coral which... More

Very beautiful island only about 20 minutes away from Kota-Kinabalu. Worth to visit. Accommodation is expensive but very good. Also you can go to see sunset at the evening and do some water activities. Good place to sborkeling.
