We visited as part of a tour and thought it was great. One of the flowers had just bloomed overnight. Clambering down through the jungle hanging on to ropes was fun and the rafflesia priceii that we saw was beautiful, it was great to see something so different

Honestly RM20/person is kind of a rip-off. And there's nothing to see but only one Rafflesia! We thought it would be like a garden (maybe not full of) but at least more than one Rafflesia to see...Anyway, not worth visiting.

I visited here was wanted to see this flower as its native only to here, they gave one in London. Kew Gardens but they charged ridiculous amounts of money to see. The got to see the flower in bud state, just starting to open up , full flower and during off. When I arrived the flower was starting to smell... More

We were in a tour Kota Kinabalu National Park and the guide asked if we wanted to visit the Tambunan Rafflesia Reserve, was just a bit more and we decide to visit it, was interesting but I recommend it just if you were in a tour already, don't bother to go just for it.

We were passing on our way from Mount Kinabalu when we saw the sign. You walk down a long track to a wooded area and the Rafflesia is growing under the trees. We were very lucky to see it as it flowers for such a short time. There were two young girls who told us about the flower and there... More

not much to do, great beaches away from polluted towns, very dirty otherwise. Food not great. If you like fish morning noon and night then ok. Won't go back though.

Rafflesia is beautiful rare flower, which growns only in S-E Asia. The entrance price in reserve is 30 RM, about 8-9 Euro

Earlier we were not planning to visit this place but our guide told us that there are 6 bloomed Rafflesia are there in the park so we thought of giving it a try. The garden was nothing but an area kept separately where Rafflesia blooms and fences around to separate them. Rafflesia takes around 6 months to bloom and once... More
