We came here from the island and enjoyed our time at the bird park. The birds are caged or in 2 free flight aviaries and all seem in good condition with good room for flight. I particularly enjoyed feeding the birds in the free flight aviaries. The place could do with a bit of a revamp for its visitors but... More

I went there with my preschoolers as the location quite near to my school. The bird show is not worth to watch. In the park, they are other animal such as mousedeers and crocodile. Personally, I wouldn't go there as the entrance fee is quite expensive and the place was in a shabby condition.

This is a reasonable size park with vast variety of birds from Asia and Southeast Asia. There are few places to go in to the bird cages too. Only downside is the smell.

Not big and most bird inside cage bird park in penang, good for kid but not so good for photographing. I still could take some pictures in it, some birds still could reach near to the camera. Parking a little bit messy during public holiday since no good management there

At RM the entry fee is way overpriced. The place calls itself a Bird Park, but there is little sense of a park with many birds caged in smallish spaces and in dirty conditions. In fact the whole place is tatty and untidy and dirty. Walkways are sometimes uneven or even dangerously broken. I hated to see an eagle tethered... More

This is a nice place to just drop by when around the mainland Penang area with nothing to do in the morning (it gets really hot in the afternoon). Many birds in cages and some on display on wooden fences or in huts - mainly owls and eagles. There's a bird show at certain times of the day. It's a... More

I went to Penang bird park when I was a little girl, that was 20+ years ago. Came back to this park with my son after 20 years with the hope that there will be at least some 'improvement' being done. Unfortunately, this place is still a huge disappointment. Over price, cleaniness required immediate attention, birds look 'lethargic'. I really... More

Terrible attraction was not worth the money to get in, birdcages have seen better days and they all looked dirty and run down definitely not worth visiting.
