Visiting this site takes around 45 minutes, best entry is from Cannon Street. The temple has beautiful carvings and is very well maintained, the inside has some incredible paintings / drawings so don't forget your camera! Underneath is a small museum with the history of Baba Nyonyas and how the building was used. Price at the time of writing 10... More

Visit to Khoo Kongsi. There is an entrance fee. Their clan house is a museum displaying the history of the place, and a temple above

This is a jewel of a temple. The intricate stonework alone is worth the visit. Best to visit with a guide who can provide the history of the clan and temple and provide knowledgeable insights regarding temple features.

Historical places. We enjoyed reading the history of the kongsi .A struggle for a better future. My kids loved the place. The buildings were the remembrance of the past brutal history. A must visit place in Georgetown.

We managed to come across Khoo Kongsi while exploring the city for street arts. We really enjoyed admiring the beauty of the buildings, and the amount of hard work it took to carve the intricate designs of the temple. It's one of the most prominent clan houses in Malaysia, and worth the RM 10 entrance fee per adult.

It cost RM10 for each person to come in but it worth. The house is ancient but still kept in good condition, if you are a detail oriented person you will like it, many many nice details on the wall, on the roof, big ground. It's hiden after a small street then it make you feel a little bit supprise.... More
