If you cannot take a little dirty environment, do not come here. However if you are used to backpacking and overnight in airport and bus station, I'm sure the comfort level of this place is not a problem. I have to state the above because not everyone has the same level of expectations for island getaway, or the definition of... More

Pulau Sembilan is an amazing tourist spot suitable for naturalists, adventurers, family vacation or bonding, friend gatherings, company trips, etc. When you are there, you need not do anything but relax, enjoying nature, enjoying sea breeze, enjoying fresh seafoods and have funs. Nine Islands Agency's committed staff will take care of everything. The tour operator we chose was 9 Island... More

There are 2 operators currently providing the full service (transfer, dining, accommodation etc) in Pulau Sembilan. Both occupied a portion of the beach side by side. According to the staff, there is 3rd operator coming soon, their facility is under construction right now. I have read some of the reviews here about the Nine Island (Pulau Sembilan). I am lucky... Things to improve 1. The tents were built in the wrong direction 2. The journey to the toilet and mass kitchen is far and filled with construction sites. 3. The tents you sleep in made you feel like you were in an oven 4. They allowed 230 people on an island with only 10 toilets that potentially have a 50/50... More

The accommodation was really poor, we knew that we would be staying in a tent, it was so pack and congested at the beach where all the tents were put under shelter, when i looked at the picture from so of the blog, it was not that bad, but when we reached there few days ago, i think easily there... The signature of this place is blue tear but it wasn't that much as you can expect when you see the picture describing this place. That kind of picture most probably need special setting in dslr or edited. Don't get disappointed for that as you can really see quite many blue tear during late night.

2D1N trip to Pulau Sembilan, an island in Malaysia where you can see beautiful "blue tears", ie luminous blue planktons. Make a date with low tide because you can see more of them. Unfortunately I experienced high tide on this trip. Could see only a few scattered around on the beach. That is nature I got to accept it. Nevertheless,... More

First of all, the food prepared is a satisfactory. Nothing glamorous and amazing, but we were never hungry haha. Had nice time chilling and chatting with friends there but I would not recommend it to those who prefer to have well planned schedule. The agency do provide snorkeling(nothing that is very awsome to see), jungle tracking, karaoke after dinner etc... More

We visited 9 Island by Sept 2016. We booked the package with 9island agency on Mac and still get old price RM280. We also booked a room with them to stay overnight at the fishing village Bagan Datoh. Luckily we do so. At night 11pm, the staff knocked our door said there are a lot of blue tears along the... More
