Not much to see as the whole area is not well maintain not worth the fees paid for entrance. Took us at most 30 mins. to finish the tour ourselves. For my opinion just a spooky mine tunnel.

There are charges RM15.90for adults and RM7.95for children.The tram trip into the tunnel is less than 2minutes... visitors need to walk around 40minutes in the tunnel.there are information boards in it and a few staffs to assist you...if you need any help...

Sungai Lembing itself is already a very kampung area. So, it really amuse me when I enter this mines. Went there with family but I would suggest schools to bring the student here to explore and know more about history and stuff.

good experience as a miner. if possible the worker should guide or tell the tourist about the history instead of sit down at the tunnel.

lhm17, tks for yr ans. after yr ans, i actually went to the mines with wheelchair. it is possible to go on wheelchair throughout the whole length of the mines. just that the wheelchair has to be carried onto the short train... More

My father James Procter Carmichael worked here from 1968 , He was chief Mechanical Engineer for the company , we grew up here and spent many happy years in this town , I plan to return one day soon
