We ate our way through this market, bought some gifts to take home. And enjoyed a pleasant hour or two. Still kick myself for not getting a henna tattoo.

It was Saturday night and we decided to give it a go. If I remember correctly, we spend around 30 minutes. it looks the same as std night market in Malaysia. You can eat this and that. If you had not seen a night market...More

This is no ordinary market, there are things to eat here that are worth looking out for. Samosa, fried chicken, squid, nasi lemark, all the Malay dishes you would expect, plus a few more. We have been to most of them, including the most popular...More

There is a different night market every night in langkawi. The first one we went to was the one in kuah. On the hunt for local food i was not disappointed. You can find nasi kerabu, nasi lemak, various types of fried noodles, satay, keropok...More

There is a night market every night in Langkawi. Wednesday and ?Saturday in Kuah and Thursday in Pantai Cenang. We went to both of these and they were identical with the same vendors working, so it doesn't really matter which one you go to. The...More

Don't let the petrol fumes from the generators put you off. The food is great. A truly authentic local experience - it's relatively small. Were only a few foods options but it was all delicious. We left our kids (5 and 7 yo) at the...More

Definitely worth checking out the night market. It's free, after all. Plenty of places to park across the river if you have a car. The food however was not great. We tried some chicken satay which was the worst we had in Malaysia (mostly skin...More

Well worth a visit. All the locals shop there. Lots of food just selective what you eat. Cheap cloths only small sizes they do not cater for tourist. The markets change location each day. Still a lot of fun.

The night market was a must see . My advice is skip dinner before you go as there are numerous stalls where they are barbecuing and the food is delicious. This is not so much a tourist market, locals eat here and buy clothes, veg...More

We were in Pantai Chenang and went to the night market there, wouldn't bother it was generally the same stuff as any shop along the street and believe most stalls would have been run by those shops. You can get as good a... More
