It's a good place to learn all about paddy. However, it's kind of boring. I am sure they can make it a bit more lively and interesting. Still worth going but won't spend more than 30 minutes here.

The museum was built in 90s as an icon for Kedah as the rice bowl of Malaysia. The museum is in gold color and glitters from far away. The museum shows the history, process and product of paddy and rice. Must visit place for everyone...More

Went to the Kedah Paddy Museum as most of our party come from the land of potatoes we were keen to find out about how Rice is grown and harvested and the museum showed us how it was done

Reasonable entry fee (RM5). Nice 360 degree portrait display of the paddy field and Gunung Keriang. Good collection of tools used by old-timer farmers in the field. Bought the traditional rice tea roasted using charcoal. (Give it a trial, worth it).

The paddy museum are located nearby Gunung Keriang. Inside the museum you can see the developement of paddy technology and at at 3rd floor have a very scenic landscape .Good for family visit.

Nice to visit if you're really interesting in paddy, otherwise you will feel boring walk through the museum.
