if you are in JB and has nothing to do, probably you may take a visit to this zoo. It's a small zoo but good enough for weekend family outing.

A nice cozy little zoo. Caters to the locals mostly. It has improved a lot since its heyday in the early 70s. There are actually animal shows now and the animals don't look depressed anymore.

Yes it's cheap, but it's run down and feels outright cruel and exploitative. Head over the Causeway to the Singapore Zoo and see how a real zoo operates.

The bird shows are great. The food at outlets are reasonably priced. The place is clean and green. The entrance fee is cheap RM3 for adults
