Didn't know the Crusaders were in Lebanon till I visit this castle. The castle has a great view of the sea and is pretty well preserved. They are also lots of restaurants and shops leading to the castle. A must visit in Byblos.

The city of Byblos is a wonder and the ruins are the culmination of the visit. The city itself is very worthwhile, with alleys, restaurants, bars, very pleasant. The part of the ruins and the castle is the best, a set of historical relics from different times.

This is the jewel in the city and well worth a look. While there is limited signs and information, you are simply able to explore the site which is great. Worth a visit. The noise of the town is lost the moment you go in!

It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. The castle is located in the central part of the archeological park in Byblos. Inside you can find a small museum which gives a great historical context to your visit in Byblos. From the top you have amazing view over the whole site, great spot for photos and for planning your walk in the ruins.…
