Our visit to the Sam burn reserve was very fruitful. Every animal species in Africa seemed to come out and play that day!

After living in Tanzania for 5 years and Kenya for 3, we were surprised by the lack of wildlife in Shaba. We camped for 2 nights (the campsite on the river was beautiful) and drove into Buffalo Springs and Samburu to see the wildlife. Something...More

Park has a unique situation - sits like a bowl surrounded by hills and mountains. The park has extensive shrubs, trees, and a river. Actually got to see an elusive Leopard climb up a river bank and into a tree.

Such a great park! So many interested species not found in other parks such as Somali ostrich, gerenuk--the antelope that stands on hind legs to graze, reticulated giraffe, and the endangered Grevy zebra

Great park. We saw great wildlife, including several interesting animals you can’t see at other parks, like the Grevy Zebra and the super-funky genneruks.

Spent 40 minutes following two leopards and the scenery was always great. Traveled to many parts of the park and were treated to many special memories provided by Mother Nature

This was an area rich in wildlife and we really enjoyed our treks out each day. It wasn't the Masai Mara, nor Amboseli, but it was nice.

Ask for their KRA pin... you can then check that on the website.. Alternatively I can give you the number of the guy who rents vans for safaris and i can connect you with the hotels which you can initiate.
