The coastal village of Watamu is known for its wonderful white sand beach. The region is protected as part of the Watamu National Marine Park.

The beach is quite magnificent. If we ever return I would love to stay there. We had lunch at a tiny hut. The food was good but it was more about the location. There is a lot of pressure from the locals to eat at...More

Watamu is one of my favorite beaches. White sand, blue ocean with a fantastic temperature, and a magnificent view. There are several restaurants and hotels and the food is amazing. I have been there several times and will for sure go back.

You want to be away from home, Watamu is the place to visit. Save some days, you wont hurry your visit to Watamu. Take a deep breath, you are going to have a great time!

Beautiful clean beach, one of the best! Great waters for swimming, snorkeling, dolphin watching and enjoying marine life as a whole. The town folks are very warm and welcoming, and it is very safe.

This will always be one of my favourite beaches, for its soft white sands, and hotels that dont encroach too much. Snorkelling in the Marine Park wonderful and the Local Ocean Conservation organisation make it a perfect haven for anyone interested in nature.

Is soo nice looks like a fairy tale not much to offer if you what to go around but for a calm week-end with small kids yes you can try it. Definitely

A beautiful beach....We stayed at Turtle Bay Beach Resort which had direct access. I liked the fact that you were not bothered by local tradesmen, and if approached and refused, that was accepted.

Hi! Actually yes! there is lots of small villages and also the beach is long. So you can always find some place there. just be careful about the tide. its changing each 6 hours.
