This place shouldn't really be called a beach. There's signboards indicating that swimming is strictly forbidden. Therefore people may be misled. The landmark should rather be the historical figure that they came to see. Just like most beaches, if any, here on the island, the...More

We reached here by bus from Kochi Station in the afternoon of a Thursday during a cruise stop here in Kochi. It was about a 45 minute drive. We walked about 5 minutes to the beach, which didn't allow swimming at this time (not sure...More

Just another beach so nothing special about it. Swimming is forbidden from the beach because of strong currents but there are a couple of walkways and there is a small shopping mall selling souvenirs and you can also get refreshments. Not worth a special visit...More

It is a beach facing the Pacific ocean. So swimming was not allowed when we visited. There are some walks available.

Not much to do in winter but you can still have a good walk along the beach and the view is good. Some shops near the beach are closed during low season

The tourist information center recommended this place and I have 1 day to spare to go somewhere outside the city. About 40 min from the city. The beach is small but beautiful. Expect some climbing but worth it.

We strolled along the beach and watched how the waves rolled. There is an aquarium nearby which is popular for families with kids. We crossed a small bridge which led us up to the top of hill. We really appreciated its natural beauty. Highly recommend.
