If you want to find a nice and quiet place to have a short walk, highly recommend to visit there. Nearby JR Takamatsu station, you can see Japanese castle and gardens. Good for photography lovers too!

Castle & park dated back to the 17th century. Very nice Japanese garden. If you want to take the postcard photo with the corner tower, you better get in from the East entrance.

If come to Takamatsu, you can't leave without visit the Tamamo Park. It has interesting points to learn, and you can also do fun things like feeding the fish during a boat ride around the sea water around the ruins. Unique experience!

Not the best park in Takamatsu. If you wanted to see the castle, you could see it and photograph it outside. Inside is small and boring. I would not recommend it as a must-see place in town.

On its own merits Tamamo wasn't that bad, but I can't help but compare this to Ritsurin park, which is far better in every way. However it was extremely easy to get to, being right across the street from our hotel and two central train...More

Fun and nice park in the middle of Takatmatsu. 200JPY entry, and we spent at least an hour looking around. It was very interesting, and you were able to feed the fish in the moat which was heaps of fun and good for kids. I...More
