The stone path made me feel I was in the old years of Naha. The cobblestones are very interesting. Just a piece of advice: It would be a long walk, climbing and strolling, so preserve your knees and wear good pair of shoes to walk!

I love the atmosphere of ancient stone paved and local style japanese city view. Very close from shuri castle, but the way to go cannot find by google map, ask from shuri castle security guard is better.

We started at the top since I parked near the entrance when visiting the castle. After lunch at the Madama Cafe, we descended for a while, visiting various smaller paths that branch out from the main road. It's fun to explore, but definitely a workout...More
