Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

At least it is clean which is not the case with all beaches in Ishigaki. However it is enclosed by a massive resort complex and is only accessible through the hotel lobby. As suggested by other reviews there are better beaches nearby but they will not last long given the scale of unsympathetic development.

If you want resort type amenities (bar, pool, chairs, towels) you will want to go here.
If you want a nice secluded beach for swimming and snorkelling, this is not the beach to go to. We were told the water “closed” at 6pm.

We visited the Fusaki Beach thinking it’ll be clean ocean with fishes swimming like we experienced in Miyakojima and main Okinawa Isalnd but it was dirty, stinky and nothjng impressive. I’m hoping other beaches aren’t like this or else we should have gone to Miyakojima instead

There is a better, more private beach just down towards the lighthouse. We spent a lovely afternoon here looking into rock pools when the tide was out. We also collected 2 bags of rubbish as this beach isn't cleaned like Fusaki is (as the resort is so close to the main beach). There are swimming nets on Fusaki beach and recliners if you want to hire them. However, we preferred the wildness of the other beaches close by.

This is a must visit beach! The water was clear & if you like to snorkel, you will see tons of fish. It's family friendly so great is you have small children. The bathrooms and the shower rooms were clean but a bit too cold. The only issue is getting to the beach on the bus. The bus doesn't run often so check the schedule. My teen son caught 10 puffer fish by hand.

This stunning beach had the clearest water I've ever seen (and I've been to many beaches all over the world). The beach is very long and not overly crowded. I appreciated the serenity and intense colors.

After reading some reviews on here for this beach we almost didn't go. That would have been a mistake. The facilities are absolutely excellent and with the wind blowing in the right direction, which it was for us, the water was crystal clear and warm. We were able to cycle here from our guest house and walk through the main resort entrance. We used sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach and were not far at all from immaculate toilets or showers (or a bar!). If you want a beach with top notch facilities and safe for swimming then this could be the one for you. Yes the swimming area is a little shallow but I got to a bit which put me out of my depth. It wasn't that busy despite being so family friendly as most of the children were drawn to the water park on the resort.

The angel pier is superb for photos and sunsets. Blue clear water, white sand... Paradise on earth. Water is safe to swim in [ jellyfish protection net ] and th temperature is perfect.

The white sand, the pier and the blue water (with nets to protect you from jellyfish bites)is truly a great place for a swing or for snorkelling. The minus point is for all the paint smell coming from all the renovation work going on at the resort.
