Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Yayoi Tengu is located in the Yayoi covered street in Beppu. I found this figure to be pretty entertaining. When I visited Beppu the figure was accessible for the public to view, I assume he is always here, but I could imagine how fun the festivals here are with the Yayoi Tengu. I don't really know anything about the Yayoi Tengu or the history, but I still found it interesting to see and take a few photos of.

This is one of the largest long-nosed red tengu goblin faces in Japan. It is displayed in an open building on the Yayoi covered shopping road in downtown Beppu. Behind if is a smaller tengu. There is no admission and it is open 24/7. It takes about three minutes to see.Visited 21 March 2020.

The Yayoi-Tengu Street is one of the main shopping streets in the
hot springs `hell' city of Beppu in the Oita Prefecture, and very
close to the Takegawara Onsen. There is an iconc figure of Tengu,
with a big nose. This place saw most shops closed on the day that
we visited the place. We were also hungry, and were looking for food!
The shopping street is a tourist attraction, and has free public WiFi.
There is a tax exemption procedure counter on the street. This is
also located at a walking distance from the Beppu station. the
street is covered from the top, with a transparent cover, to let
the light in, while protecting shoppers from the environment.
An interesting place!
