The waterfall is a pretty one set in quiet countryside about an hour from Sasebo by public transport (bus or train).
It's a twenty to twenty five minute walk from the railway / main road. Well signposted in Japanese.

This is a fantastic waterfall. The parks grounds are well manicured and the waterfall itself has two stages. The upper portion has a solid 15 meter fall. You can Wade if you'd like. I recommend viking shortly after a rainy period.

A memorable trip. A little tricky to find but using our GPS we figured it out. Short little walk around, decent amount of stairs. You can walk right up to the falls, which is nice. Great experience, beautiful little spot.
