The remains and the lesson boards being built on the mountain top teach visitors valuable lessons drawn from the recent earthquake. The smell, the live experience at the top was just amazing.

Mt. Aso in every season has an amazing view. Good to relax and experience. You can try horseback riding, helicopter ride for an aerial view of the volcano also trekking. A must go!

Cable car or gondola ride was still closed during March 2016. We can only see Mt. Aso from a distance. Not worth going.
