Nothing special about this museum. It is interesting, but one can find similar displays of traditional art in many countries. It is just next door to the beautiful Kushida Shrine, so you don't need to go out of the way to get here.

Its fun to check out the free parts of this little house/atelier museum, but really not worth the ticket if you do not speak japanese just because its all in Japanese and there aren't many english translations, a shame cause it is probably really interesting...More

small place to know more about the place's culture. theres a part where its free entrance. but museum where theres a video being played has an entrance fee.

This museum is not big but it has few interesting exhibitions about the old town of Hakara and video to show the various festival and hand made craft on Japanese paper mask and dolls. It also have live demonstration at certain time on bento crafting...More
