A wonderful covered shopping street that stirs the senses. Much going on, many small shops and stalls. Well worth wandering through.

There is such a wide variety of shops in the covered street mall. It stretches across a few blocks and is also close to the canal.

As a browser, I like to go to places with local brands and products. This place is great for me because of these. There are also stalls setup intermittently along the middle of the street.

If Tenjin is a shopping area for tourists, Kawabatadori is an unpretentious shopping street for the local people. When you go out from subway Nakasu-Kawabata station, you can find this shopping arcade just in front. This area is also famous for nightlife.

A local street shops. Mainly for seniors rather than young people. Good place to experience the local daily necessities goods. Colorful fruits and vegetable stall draws my attention.
