I went in May. Utter waste of time. Just some walls and stairs. View is nothing to shout about. Ohori Park is also boring.

Great to walk around the park full of Cherry Blossum at the tiem we were their with numerous picnics taking place all over the place, The remains provide a great platform to overview the park with its Cherry Trees

It was sad to see these ruins. You can't imagine that such a huge castle compound had to be dismantled because the lord lost a battle and lost everything. It must have been so beautiful in its heyday. There were cherry blossom trees all over...More

There is nothing much to see except for some cherry trees along the park. Ohori Park is just next to it. Go only if you have extra time... if not, it can be missed.

We walked for kilometers under freezing temp just to visit this place. When we got there, all we saw was not just what was left of it, it was also being repaired. To my eye, it wasn't really a castle. But since we were there...More

When we went to visit, I was hoping to see the images on the pictures. Unfortunately, it was just tons of bricks. Just really remains/ruins as the name implies. The view on the top deck, however, was a fabulous view of Fukuoka. It's a good...More
