Nice place!!. A good museum, clearly exhibit about pearls: history, uses and technics!. Price: ¥1,500/person Two hours of Nagoya by train (included in JRPass). Sell pearls are very expensive. Take cash and credit cart! !!!

just about pearl, nothing else here, they talked about how, and lifestyle of woman diver and of course selling pearl.. dont forget 1500 yen to visit this attraction

If you are a real pearl fan then perhaps you can consider visiting this place. The only attraction is the ah ma pearl divers who will demonstrate their skills in diving for pearls. The museum is okay - educational though so kids will probably learn...More

If you are not interested in the pearl industry no need to go & the poor sea lady just picking sea weed off the seabed.

It costs 1500yen per person and we spent a good 2 hours there. The pearl museum was educational and there was a memorial hall museum of the late owner of Mikimoto Pearls. We also watched the women divers demonstration available every hour. A good place...More
