It's beautiful thing to see or to take a photo of .....but that's all. Actually combine this with the world heritage shrines park.its at the base of the hill climb up. You have to pay to walk across it .... nobody does this.

You can get some photo opportunities from the roadside but have to pay to walk on the bridge itself. I guess thats fair as they have to maintain it but I dint see the value.

Beside shinkyo bus stop and souvenior shops. Took from the road side. Admission fee would be required to walk on the bridge.

This bridge is very pretty. During business hours you can pay¥300 to walk across. It's also pretty just for photographs. When you're done here you can walk across the street to the temple complex for a visit.

Looks are great, but its only really good for taking a couplr of pictures. I didn't like having to pay for access to the bridge itself.

you can only look at it from the outside, the crossing of the bridge is not allowed. it is nevertheless a significant piece of architecture

This site is not a reason to visit Nikko, but it is on the way to the major temples and is both quaint and photogenic.

It's a short bridge over Daiyagawa River and it'd take you less than a minute to cross the bridge (for good fortune).

It is a small bridge with clear river. It is nice to take picture from a distance. It is ridiculous that you have to pay 300 yen to walk over it, which would have taken 2'. May be this is done on purpose to limit...More

A nice bridge with beautiful view. This red bridge is a famous landmark of Nikko. Anyway, it smaller than our expect. You have to pay 300 yen, if you want to cross the bridge.
