Peaceful, calm and pleasant. Definitely worth a visit so long as you walk up the road to visit Kegon Falls.

We went there after visiting the Yunoko lake further up in the North. However, I did not find it very interesting as it was just an average looking lake. The only interesting thing is that the lake is situated on a mountain.

Would take a whole afternoon to walk around but can be worth it as a lovely 'hike'. Many good ice cream places around and it is definitely worth getting onto the water if you have time whether by the lakeside or one of the boats.

Weather is good today to go for a short cruise at Lake Chuzenji. Definitely you will enjoy the natural view of the lake, the greens and Mt. Nantai.

I went there in autumn when leaves were changing their colour. My destination was the waterfall but we had to stop here for photo shooting. Good place to visit. Nikko is very popular in autumn and the local road is very small. If you plan...More
