This market is in a rather unappealing metal box about ten minutes walk away from Yokosuka Chuo station. It is no foodie paradise. There is a very popular gelato place in there (lines were very long on the Sunday we were there) and a souvenir...More

I love this place. They have a great fish market, and tons of delicious snacks. My favorite thing to get here are the tuna bowls. I love to come here and get food for a picnic in the park.Yum!!

This is my Sunday outing.Literally. I'm always excited to see what fresh veggies they have stocked. The choices range from great cuts of meat, fresh sashimi and seafood, organic ketchup, marmalade... You have to stop by! I always leave with some homemade gelato.

We had fresh maguro lunch at the restaurant attached to the market and it was fantastic. The market had a variety of fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables and some meats. There were also some bento items. Very convenient.

We dropped by to pick up some sashimi for dinner..also got some vegetables. I saw the gelato..didn't get any yesterday..but I will be back to try it. Thirty minutes free parking..more if you spend over 1,000 yen? Can be quite busy on weekends/holidays.
