Your though conducted in Japanese was interesting. The video effects they had were great. There were about 20 people in our group and only 2 were Japanese, excluding the guide. The guide was extremely passionate ... couldn't understand what she was saying but you can tell. The passion towards beer was definitely infectious! They provide a English handout that explains... I managed to register myself for the factory tour through email in English. I was glad that they responded fast and gave me a timeslot on the day when I was in Yokohama. The place was a 10 minutes walk from Namamugi Station. I managed to ask for directions from a group of ladies who were also heading there. If... More

Reaching the museum via train can be tricky. Its a 10 minute walk from either Keikyu Shin Koyasu station or Namamugi Station. Either station is equidistant walking distance. The village is easy to find. We were surprised that there were more locals than tourists. Several of the locals appeared to be on the free tour for the free beer. Prior... More

I went there with my dad on the rainy day. The stuff was so nice and very kind to us. They gave us English guild book because the tour was in Japanese. At the end of the tour , they gave you to try a few free glasses of different beer. They gave us 2 umbrellas too because its raining... More

Strictly by reservations only. Visitors will be brought on a guided tour of the making of kirin beer and their much-famed ichiban wort. At the end of the tour, one would get to sample various beer that they produce. Point to note is that the venue is located in Yokohama and a change of train is required before a 400m... More

Though we did not fully understand Japanese, but we fully enjoyed the factory tour conducted in Japanese! It took about 30min for the tour, followed by the highlight of the tour - the beer tasting session! Each visitor is entitled to 3 glass of free beer. Since we are not good drinker, we took only average 2 glasses each. We... More

The walk from the train station to Kirin Beer Village is appx 10 to 15 mins. Exit the station and turn left, you will have to cross the train tracks and continue down the main road. Just pass a flyover and you will see the entrance on the right side. The staff at the village was very friendly and courteous.... More

We have booked the Kirin Beer brewery tour ahead before our arrival in Tokyo. The factory tour take an hour, starts with actual feeling the ingredients, malts & hops and going through the entire process of producing beer. You will see the huge facilities and learn how many cans of beers are produced in a minute. At the end of... More

This was a fun, short tour. I showed up a little late, but they let me join in anyway. They provided me an English printout of the guide's speech, so I was able to understand what they were talking about. We even got to try the first and second presses of wort. Kirin only uses the first press of the... More

Ok so you might want to know a little bit about Beer or understand Japanese. This tour isnt in English but at the end of the trip we all understand the language of free beer. Iv been through a beer tour before so wasn't to new but they do brew it different than in most other places so picking up... More
