The trees around the lake change to yellow red and some are green ,so beautiful! And so peaceful because no shops around only few hotels.

If you are riding or driving, this gorgeous lake is worth the drive. Suggest bring picnic lunch, the views are spectacular and the drive is easy. Spring, summer, good, fall the best. Winter depends on weather. You will not be disappointed.

We spent a nice night at a small guesthouse type hotel. There are beautiful walks and harder mountain trails all around the lake. We were surprised and really enjoyed our 2 days. You can rent paddle boats, waterbikes and kayaks.

You will see a place of absolute white. Everywhere is blanketed in fog and snow. The place will be best if the Putonghua-speaking people can lower their voice.
