This market is well worth a visit. Busy but typically well laid out. Lots of seafood and interesting to watch the locals buying, even if we couldn't understand the signage.

Because it is a covered marketplace, it was really busy on the rainy holiday weekend I was in Kanazawa. It does have an amazing range of seafood, and also many other foods too. Worth a look, but I would have preferred to be there at...More

Nice outdoor market. Easy to access from city loop bus. Would not recommend walking it is a bit far from the JR Kanazawa Train station. Best to go earlier in the day but it was still nice to stroll around in the late afternoon!

Great to see the locals buying their food and the huge variety of fish and seafood, loads of crab. Sushi bars looked very busy and a little expensive though, we had some deep fried potato cakes with beef, shrimp and crab in them, very good.

A large fish and crab market about 1000 m from the main station. Well worth visiting to see the amazing variety of seafood from the Japan sea area.

We are here now and it is really cold and still as busy as ever, I don't think the weather will affect the day to day stuff much.
