From the booking area to the bus, everything was clean and organized. Receptionist was extremely helpful and cheerful, made our bookings efficiently with a bus tour we joined in to our bus ride to Toyama. Clean, comfortable bus.

We used Nohi from Fujikwaguchiko to Takayama (5000 yen per person, one way) and it was perfect. They have less seats, giving you much more space and you can recline the seats quite far to relax. Wifi was working very good. The is an onboard-toilet,...More

We took an one day guided tour to the world heritage villages of Gokayama Suganuma and Shirakawago. The tour was accompanied by a very good english speaking guide. The tour includes also a typical local lunch.

We reserved our seats exactly 30 days prior to our trip. The bus arrived promptly at the station and arrived on schedule.

I cannot remember the bus fare, but yes you can buy your tickets at Takayama Bus Station. Shrirakawago is just a small place, but take the time out to enjoy the place; a leisure stroll would probably be about 2-3 hours... More
