i visited here last year september.i purchased an entrance ticket for mud bath from a travel agent online.you must book the time slot first,i took grab ride to get there. and exchange the ticket at the counter,the the staff gave me a wristband.the staffs there recommend me to do massage,cuz i have time,so i chose swedish massage. first i went to take shower,and change my clothe,you must wear swimsuit, if not they will provide one for you.that time i didnt prepare my own swim trunk,so i got one from the staff.the mud bath will go first,it is hot,i lay in the bath tube for around 20 minutes. then followed by some jacuzzi facilities, finally the staff guide me to the steam room.the staffs will always guide you, so dont worry where to go.after that, i went to the massage room.the masseuse quite strong,but not even.sometimes i feel strong,sometimes not.but overall not bad.heard that mud bath is good for skin,so if have time,will try it again.

Guys the whole thing sounds fantastic but out of 7 units in 2 and half hours there was only 2 units any good and they were great?

The foot spa was not working, hydra shower was hopeless many nozzles were not working, the pool was murky ( needed more chorine), the jacuzzi stunk.

The change rooms were pathetic and dirty .

The place is run down, dirty, health risk and an OH and S nightmare.

The shining lights were the mud bath and the massages rated as excellent?

Would we come back NO

Best day spa ive ever been to
They let us stay in the warm mud bath as long as we wanted. Then we got to go to a dry and wet sauna. After we went swimming, then we paid for massages. Total spent was 75usd for over 4 hours of amazing service. Best massage I've had ever. They even threw in hot stones during the massage for free. I booked directly through the Facebook site. I recommend doing that over using a site like this. The staff was so attentive. The only thing that would have made it better, is if the 4th floor restaurant was open. Other than that it was a perfect relaxing day

NOT A RIGHT PLACE TO RELAX ,
I visited Galina around 12 pm in the afternoon on 13th December 2019 with my friend, at the front desk , a young lady explained the different type of packages and I picked up the combo package for about 3 hours. My friend and I had been guided by the staff at each step which was okay , we started by a mud bath then followed to hot bath tub , steam bath then to the massage room which I was waiting for a quit long , this was the place where my rest of the day , plan all got ruined by

1) as it was a couple room both girls were talking and I couldn’t understand anything that’s why I can’t focus and relax

2) light wasn’t turned of or dim it was damm bright and keeps on irritating me and I have to cover my eyes with my hand and that girl didn’t notice but she did after 15 -20 minutes.

3) I stood up in the middle of the massage and left the room and asked reception to call the manager.

4 ) manager felt sorry but that incident ffffkkddddd up head and rest of my plans so I got some cash (not all ) back from her ( kathrine)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, because of this place I waisted my time and money and rest of the plans after that mud thing .

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE .

The 4 of us got the VIP experience with mud bath, salt soak, steam room and sauna followed by a massage.

The mud bath and salt soak was lukewarm that felt cold after 15 mins. The steam room was cold. The sauna room only had room for 2 when there was 4 of us.

The massage was okay but my masseuse massages my left side of head for a long time. I saw that she was actually using her phone. Huge turn off. The lights were too bright to feel relaxing. While we were completely naked sitting up, she ended up asking for a tip which made it super uncomfortable. Looks are deceiving.

This place looks nice on this outside which is why we went but we had a horrible experience. We paid for the mud bath experience which included a mud bath, foot massage by a floor fountain, body massage by hydrotherapy, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and swimming. Firstly, there was no organization within the staff and pretty bad customer service throughout our visit. On top of that, the floor fountain was broken and so we were unable to complete our service. This only came to light right at the end of our service after we had already paid! Unorganized, poor service and very basic facilities for what they’re charging. Find another spa.

We did the mud bath package.Though the mud bath wasn't exactly the NY style thick mud single bath but it was still pretty nice and relaxing. However staff wasn't so friendly not helpful. The shower and sauna was crap as well

Go only with an expectation of a relaxing 20mins mud tub if you're going

I was really surprised by the beauty here, and it was great to be soaked in hot mineral mud, very friendly, great space to mingle with nature. We massages and mud bath with good prices compared to quality. I will come back.

Great setting, poor service

I went to Galina as part of a group of 4 girls for the combo package which included a massage. The outside setting is really beautiful with mature gardens and lovely mud pools, showers and a nice sauna. The main swimming pool is gorgeous. However that is by far the best bit. The staff appear mostly untrained and grouped in large packs that are intimidating if you want to ask anything that isnt in Vietnamese. The staff in the changing rooms particularly were very rude and unprofessional and the changing rooms were largely unclean despite there being at least 4 staff on duty sat behind the counter on their phones. I had been handed a dirty towel by mistake and they made me come out into the corridor to plead that they change it as it stank. The staff outside were better but again the reception staff were intimidating as a group of at least 8 staff who all stare at you when you come in. They seemed disappointed when they asked if we'd made a booking and we said yes. We had to pay upfront which is unusual, I paid in cash and they expected exact change.

I had a really lack lustre experience with my Shiatsu massage, my therapist clearly was disinterested and was not trained to an international standard. The room was really cold and we asked them to adjust it which they then changed back to blast after 5 minutes. I had to ask multiple times for her to avoid my ears which had recently been pierced and were painful- the last time she barely concealed a "tut tut". She barely spent time on my back and it was mostly an arm and leg rub that got painful as she was doing it all in the same place. The massage was barely an hour long with no relaxing music until the final minutes. The rest of the massage was lazy and was more of a rub with oils than a skilled Shiatsu massage. I think I was unlucky to get the lazier therapist, my friend was happy with hers and my other friends enjoyed their Himalayan hot stone massage. Of course there was no opportunity to feedback at the end and we were not even offered a drink of water afterwards. Avoid.
