Excellent Hoi An massage
Dec 2016 • Couples
I was recommended this place by a tour operator (an Intrepid guide) and it was excellent. I had the Vietnamese style massage for 60 minutes. I trust intrepid as they take hundreds if people through Vietnam and have a reputation to uphold themselves.

I enjoyed the massage very much, I think the Vietnamese style of massage is generally more gentle so I asked me to increase pressure to hard and it was a nice combination of some deeper muscle massage and some relaxing strokes. If I was here another day I would go a second time.

Pansee paid for a taxi from my hotel to the spa and back so it was a very easy afternoon.

It was 380k for the massage.

Lovely Morning
Aug 2016 • Solo
I was picked up by friendly staff member and taxi at hotel and guy was understanding I had to check out and was running late.

I did 90 minute traditional massage - tea and foot wash supplied. Massage was very relaxing, though I find Thai style slightly more remedial/memorable.

Was good value and was happy to tip.

Like Faulty Towers in a Spa
Jul 2016 • Solo
I am staying nearby & passed this "Spa" just after we arrived, the young ladies out the front called out a "special price" (low season at the moment), so I went back today to give it a go. On arrival it took 2 women to open the sliding door, it was obviously off its runners, but I was greeted & the young ladies quickly got on their phones & I was told 5 minutes. The waiting area was air conditioned so fine... I noticed a big TripAdvisor award sign.... Fine. 10 minutes later I got taken upstairs & into a tiny room that was like an oven, the air conditioner had been turned on but, though the room itself was small, it had a two story high ceiling, so it hadn't had time too cool down in that wait time at all. There was 2 massage beds & I was asked to strip down & hop on one, before I could do anything the young lady tried to pop out of the room only to find the door handle was broken & we were locked in. She wasn't the one who was going to do the treatment though, so another 5 min waiting, giving me time to look around the room & start to wonder how clean this was. Anyway the lady to do the massage came up & accessed the room & commenced the massage, at first I thought this was going to be good, firm without hurting, but then after a short time there were voices & the door opens and someone else is bought in, I'm laying there suddenly tense, as one of the voices was male & I'm laying there "butt exposed", wondering if this is a man being bought in as there was no curtain partitions in this room. It was another 10 minutes before I heard a woman's voice answer her masseuse & I was able to relax a bit. I have to say when my back & neck were being worked on it felt good, but not on any other part. The rest of my body was almost all just long flowing strokes. Not working muscles at all. At the end of the massage while I was getting dressed, I watched the towels used on me, being re-folded & placed back on the bed ready for the next person. We were also shut in the room momentarily at the end again. I have to say I couldn't wait to get back to my hotel & into the shower. I love a massage & it's not often I'm this critical, particularly in Asian countries where massage is much more affordable but you know that you are forgoing surroundings etc. but unfortunately I won't return here.

very basic
Mar 2016 • Solo
Very uncomfortable mani/pedi. Manicurist sits on floor while you sit on an uncomfortable sofa.......nowhere to rest your arm while having manicure. She concentrated on my pedicure first, I was given a plastic bowl containing water in which to immerse my fingers. This was very awkward since she was working on my feet and I was trying to balance this bowl of water on my lap without spilling it over myself. The pedicure was very basic, what I'd call an express pedicure........there was no exfoliation or moisturiser during the treatment. The same for manicure. They don't have a big range of colours for natural look so unless you want a strong colour, take your own varnish. I also had facial which I thought was OK until I got back to my hotel and discovered half the face mask had not been cleaned off my face and I was walking around with white paste stuck around my nose and cheek. Very embarrassing! My skin felt very tight since again, there was no moisturiser. In summary, maybe this is the standard of treatment you get in Hoi An but it's not what I'm used to. Would rather pay more and have a better treatment. Having said this, the staff are lovely.

Good rainy day activity
Dec 2015 • Friends
The staff were lovely. The prices were a lot more expensive than my massage in HCMC, but maybe that's common for Hoi An? The massage was good, although pressure could have been firmer. I has the fusion hot stone massage, which was 450,000 for an hour. The oil smelled lovely, and hot stones are always a treat.

Manicure/Pedicure

Lovely and well-priced treatment. Very thorough with the manicure/pedicure and I was very happy with the end result. They could use some proper pedicure chairs but still a relaxing environment. Highly recommend.

Following a foot massage with Uyen which was the best I have had since travelling from Thailand. I returned the next day for a 90 min full body massage . Uyen is wonderful, she made me feel relaxed to the point of falling asleep !!
Great price for a fantastic experience in a clean and relaxing space.

Superb massage - the best I got in Vietnam
Jul 2015 • Solo
I have tried a couple of massage places in Vietnam (Sapa, Hanoi and in Hoi An) I must admit that the best Massage I have received in Vietnam was in Pansee Spa in Hoi An. I got 60 min of Vietnamese body Oil massage, by Tuan. I asked for a strong massage and I got it just perfect… I was sorry that I discovered this gem just the day before I left) The massage was worth much more that I paid.. A must do..
