Thuan Tinh Island is a small isolated island, around 3.5 km far from Hoi An Ancient Town, on Thu Bon River. Thuan Tinh Island is an eco-friendly island rich in tropical foliage making it a beautiful place to cook, relax and then enjoy the dishes you've created, Thuan Tinh Island Cooking Tour. We organize daily cooking classes at Thuan Tinh Island: pick-up at the hotels in Hoi An area. You will make your first stop at the market to purchase some fresh and locally grown herbs, before joining a river boat ride in 30 minutes to Thuan Tinh for a relaxing meander through what has been officially recognised as an ecological zone. To visit the local Village, we take a row boat ride through the water coconut trees. We then walk through the gardens to visit a local family and snack on grilled rice cakes and iced tea. From there, we head back to our open-air cooking class overlooking the water coconut trees and river. Our chefs will show you how to make Vietnamese food while you enjoy the cool breeze and peaceful setting. That is much more than simply a cooking class as a journey to discover the eco island that makes you satisfied.

Our guide Thang was wonderful, the food was delicious (especially the crispy pancakes!!), and it was an extra bonus wandering round the market to buy all the food beforehand.

We took a half day food tour in Hoi An which started with a trip round the market guided by Mo who was fantastic, really interesting to see all the different things on offer and local ingredients for sale. Then we had a relaxing boat trip out to the cooking school where we were also well taken care of by... More

- 34$ or 745.000 VND per person for Pho Bo, Banh Xeo, Banh Bo Nambo and Fresh Spring Rolls - This cooking class deserves its five-star rating. Organization and facilities are very good. The market visit at the beginning is interesting and all employees involved are very welcoming and nice. You really learn how to make the dishes step by... More

We booked this tour last minute and couldn't believe how well organized it was and so much fun. Hien was our teacher for the day. She met us at the market and took us off in search of food to cook. The market was amazing! So many different kinds of fruit, veges and meats to look at. Then it was a... More

Had a great time doing this cooking school. Confirmed booking via email the day before doing the school, no deposit required and pickup at hotel was exactly at the time specified. Short trip picking up other participants at their hotels and then hit the Central Market to buy the food to cook with good explanation given to all ingredients purchased... More

We did our cooking tour with Hon. We visited the market first thing which gave us a wonderful taste of the local culture. We then took two fabulous boat rides to the cooking venue, where we were given a fantastic range of cooking utensils. Our guide then showed us how to cook each of the dishes one at a time,... More

Our guide was very attentive, warm personality, easily understood. Great tour of the markets. Amazed at how clean it all was. Then a trip up the river to the cooking school. One of our daughters eats veges and fish only, also allergic to peanuts. No problems catering to these needs. Four courses in total, not just chopping and throwing ingredients... More

This is amazing, it's a whole experience and our chef Hien was lovely, we first went to the market where she explained all the typical ingredients used in Vietnamese cuisine and bought the products for our dishes. Then we had a boat ride to the island, very nice with water provided. We then cooked 4 typical dishes. Hien showed us... More
