As I wrote above, it's closed, but you can still enjoy some of the attractions nearby, like the Railway Museum, which is located in front of the Arena, it's cheap (20 argentinian pesos to get in, or 30 uruguayan if Im not wrong) and you...More

Plaza de Toros is an interesting structure but there's no way to get in, you can only take a look from outside. It's located close to the Real de San Carlos, a bit away from downtown!.

This was disappointing. I walked from the historical centre by the beaches to here but the ring is closed and from the outside dilapidated so no sign it will open anytime soon. It's a shame they don't it up and open it up for tourism.

4 km from the city center or Historic Centre. Moorish style. Very similar to Spain’s bullrings. Designed by an Argentinian architect. Almost abandoned. A pity really!

The "Plaza de Toros" was active only for 2 years: from 1910 to 1912. Now it is abandoned and closed to the public. If you are staying near it (which was my case) or passing by, you can go and take some photos from outside....More

We came here on our diy bike ride. It's closed off so you can only go around it but very atmospheric place.

Good place to visit but keep in mind there are no internal tours.it looks like the interior needs a rebuild so it can be opened for tourists. You can get there by car or tour bus (bus stop #6)

I was walking in the morning with friends. It happened that we ended up at the arena after detouring from the riverside avenue. Unfortunately it is getting in ruins and closed to people. Probably it was a nice place to visit in the past, even...More
