I loved the Museum. Especially the grave finds with groups of scelettons in perfect shape, with their jewellery still in place. But also the rich collection of objects starting from the stone age up to late pre-islamic times. I had been out to the Mleiha Archeological Center before, which made the visit of the museum even more meaningful, having seen... More

The exhibit is informative and detailed. All the exhibits have information in English. Also the headphone tour is helpful.

There are beautifully arranged exhibits in a very pleasant setting. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The permanent exhibits are very thorough and there is always a mouth watering temporary exhibition.

I volunteered in the summer camp at the museum and it was my first visit to it as well. The museum is divided according to the historical periods that the city went throw and some halls have similar displays of the actual archeological location. The museum also offered free parking and very simple entrance fee.

Its location is good. One can park his car inside the gate. Entry fee is AED 5 only. One can see the old archeology of Emirate of Sharjah inside. One can experience the lives of people of Sharjah from the stone age to the present day.Different jewellery, pots, tombs etc. are displayed in very lively manner.

I loved going to this museum, and have been a few times. The staff are awesome, very knowledgeable and polite, excellent English too. It's the best place to go to learn about the amazing history of the country, and the evolution of mankind out here. Really enlightening.

It is well planned and well done. It is my third visit to the musium and I truely like it. However, it is disappointing to see it is not very well maintaned as some of the video/audio shows are not working! Another thing, in the reservation section, it was quiet depressing to know that they stopped raising money to save... More

Archeological museum of Sharjah is designed like the best museums in the world. You can find a good classification of historical periods from pre historic to our century. Overall history of Sharjah is very poor but it is shown with the best quality in this museum. . Have a good time and enjoy.

There are lot of prehistoric stuff unearthed from this region showing how people lived the desert. artifacts are well kept, I could find some excellent life like scale models of old style dwellings.
