This formerly occupied palace is brilliantly maintained and frozen in time. The grounds are gorgeous. Make sure you make an immediate turn right and get the info for the museum first. And it's free!

The museum takes about 35 minutes to view all of the rooms. The grounds are nice but I did not find this palace to be special. There are very few explanations and there is not anything here of great interest.

This was one of the raisons i go a day before the Festival. So i could visit these places in AL Ain again. Stroll trough the city and enjoy those remarkable sites. This is one of them.

You should better visit Al-Ain in winter. So many old streets, buildings and of course palms)) We find this tour on Must2go. What can I add: you should visit this place for once, if you are lucky to be in OAE. I loved it!

We liked the museum which gives a good impression and overview of cultural, ethnic and archeological aspects of the region. Not too big, but just right to spend an hour or two.

It is a beautiful premise which shows the lifestyle of late sheik and his family. There are lots of authentic artefacts and objects used by the royal family.

Beautiful, well restored old palace with rooms decorated in the style of years past. It was very interesting to see how simply, yet comfortably, the ruling family lived. We have been back a few times with visitors and each time the people were impressed. Favourite...More

I went to the palace museum with family. Very interesting artifacts with free entry (I went on a Thursday). Nice leisurely pace with no tour guide rushing you through.

This is the family home of one of the ruling family now converted into a museum. A good one time visit. But can give this place a pass if you are really constrained on time.

I'm 99% that it is open on Sunday…but I am not at home in UAE to check…I think Friday and Monday might be the closed days
