Experience the picturesque oasis town of Al Ain on a day trip from Abu Dhabi. On route to the ‘Garden City,’ see the rocky Hajar Mountains and learn about Al Ain’s history from an expert guide. Visit the Al Ain National Museum to uncover the city’s Bedouin heritage, and explore the Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum and bustling camel market. Admire the views of the palm-filled city from Jebel Hafeet mountain, dip your toes into the mountain's hot springs, and before returning to Abu Dhabi, enjoy a tasty buffet lunch.

Maybe I was expecting more but the Palm oases did not quite deliver what I had hoped for. The palms are divided into quite small enclosed spaces that you are free to walk into but they are limited. The main walk is on a well made concrete path that becomes a bit of a drag. There are bikes you can hire and electric buggies that can be rented.we enjoyed our little walk but we did cut it short!

Perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. Come for a stroll, go to the back yard of the museum where you have this beautiful palm forest to stroll around and to unwind! Recommended for calming minds🙌

We visited over lunchtime. It was pretty quiet. We hired a 2 seater pedal cart for 30 dirham for 1 hour. A bit small for me at 6ft 1 inch. The oasis is not huge so on reflection we could have walked around just as easily. Very clean and neat. Well explained at the West entrance. Nice coffee shop/cafe in the middle... somewhere. Worth a visit but 90 minutes would do it. Next time I will pack some binoculars, glimpsed some very interesting bird life.

We had a little trouble finding the Oasis via Google - it is just down the road (less than 200yards) from the original home of Sheik Zayed. We had a snack at the small Oasis restaurant before walking through the maze of stone roads/paths. They have 2 and 4 person bike rentals which looked like fun but we decided to walk. It may have been about a 2 mile walk to get a good feel for the Oasis.

The Al Ain Oasis was an interesting visit, which highlighted the basis of the establishment of Al Ain City. The irrigation system was well explained by our guide as part of the buggy tour which is well worth the small fee.
