Chernivtsi City Hall is very nice. It is located in very nice square. At noon you can hear the flute from the tower.

Chernivtsi City Hall was built in the first half of XIX century. It became the central part of the market square. If you dare climb 126 steps to the top of the clock tower, you will be awarded with a magnificent view of the market square and Chernivtsi in general.

We stayed at a hotel on this square with a view of city hall in November and returned again last weekend. In front of the city hall is a plaza with a fountain and trees. The city hall is of Hapsburg architecture. Be there a few minutes before noon for the trumpeter. Nice to keep old traditions.

At the high noon, a guy uses something like a trumphet to perform a traditional melody on all four directions from the top of the tower. Be at the square few minutes before.
