The Uganda Wildlife Education Centre is a home to the some rescued and rehabilitated animals. Most of our residents are rescued; victims of bushmeat trade, habitat destruction, or illgeal trade.

Great place to visit and enjoy the Wildlife. Because of the layout of the area, it was very like you were in the wild and finding the various animals not in pens. The Chimpanzee exhibit was the greatest.

The Uganda Wildlife Education Center is a fun and exciting place to see and learn about the animals of Uganda and the ecosystems in which they live. Take some time to learn how they live, eat, play, and talk.

We enjoyed how close you could get to the animals. We had a very knowledgeable guide which made the experience even better. They have a good variety of animals

This is a very cool place where the staff knows their animals and helps you understand them. View a rhino that wants to be petted. Sushi the Shoebill! Henry the rescued elephant. The giraffe, are all ambassadors of kindness interacting with the visitors. Don't miss it.

We took our children to the Wildlife Centre as we had some time to spare in the afternoon. We found the layout to be very easy to follow. It was fairly well kept although a few things could do with a bit of TLC. The animals looked happy and the children loved seeing animals like Rhino, Elephant and giraffe up... More

Being from Europe, its very hard to come by such diversity of animals. The whole experience was wonderful. The layout feels like a safari resort and the zoo gives you more opportunity to see less dangerous animals closely. It's near victoria lake so the tilapia fish are very fresh and tasty for lunch. It's a very good family day out.

The guide gave lots of info on the different animals--wide variety of rescued animals & birds. The herb garden was quite interesting, labeled with name & use. Lots of school children & I enjoyed watching them. Here as at all the parks, foreigners pay more but nothing in Uganda is very expensive compared to what we pay at home. It... More

It is only while at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center that you are able to appreciate diversity in creation. With a vast array of wildlife and fauna to view, and be enlightened on, the centre provides an escape from the stress and daily routines of life. It is vastly educative and is suitable for all categories of people.
