it is not an option to visit the museum insude the Castle. It is an interesting place where you have to go. Just one hour visit is a nice time to spend here.

Stopped in Cesme on a cruise through Greek Islands. Extremes of modern and old style but overall beaitiful People very friendly and helpful. Museum not much to rave about. Walking through the market streets though close the museum was most enjoyable!

The Cesme Museum, located in the Cesme Fort, is well maintained and has several rooms full of archival collections. However, going up through narrow stairs is difficult, more so for seniors (I am over 83) without any elevator. There are beautiful views from the Fort.

Unusual sort of Museum - in and out of the darkness - but rather special Nice and cool on a hot sunny day - opportunity to learn more about the area

It took about 1 hour to visit. Nice, quiet, older castle. Had beautiful views of the sea. Adjacent to Cesme boardwalk so easy to lunch afterward. Worth a visit in a small town.

Limited things to see actually. We were not able to see inside the castle as it was already closed when we reached there, too bad. But from outside I managed to get a shot of it somehow.

There are not many items to review, this is most likely a new museum with limited items to see but a nice view of Cesme.

Some interesting history of the area - and worth an hour or two wandering round but go early and beat the coaches!
