I took a foot bath in the waterfall. Very picturesque travel from Erzurum to the waterfall. Our turkish guests were very friendly.

Nothing special. A curtain of water. What makes it unusual is the desert landscape around. If you drive by, stop. Otherwise don't make it a special trip.

Very near to Erzurum. You need to go by car. Very beautiful water fall. In February it was very cold

Tortum is one the biggest waterfall in Turkey. If you are around Erzurum it is really worth to travel here. Me and my other crazy friends even swam in small lake around :D . No fee to enter.

But once you've been to Niagara falls, this looks like a joke. If you want to see a good waterfall in Turkey, go to the ones down south.

This waterfall is definitely worth visiting if you are driving past to Erzurum. You don't have to walk far, it is fed by a sedate river above, caused by a fault. It is a nice wide waterfall. The environment is not very well maintained, rubbish...More

It's the biggest waterfall of Turkey they say, and it really was very impressive.. The amount of water pouring down from above and the sound really cleans your mind.. very meditative... and the surrounding is also very beautiful... If you travel the east of Turkey...More

This is really a very nice waterfall. I visited in October and then it was very quiet. We could get a cup of tea in the restaurant next to it (ofcourse!) but there was not much more to offer as there were hardly any tourists...More
